How To Get Involved

Fellowship:
  • Come through the line and eat with our guests.
  • Sit and play games with the guests during open-house hours.
  • Build relationships with guest families who will be living with us in the future.
  • Join us to celebrate liturgy every Thursday at 6:30 p.m. in the dining room.

Volunteer at Holy Family House:
  • Help with house maintenance and grounds-keeping.
  • Participate in our community garden project at 31st and Campbell.
  • Become a front-door volunteer during evening meals.
  • Help us to serve morning breakfast Mondays through Thursdays at 7:30 a.m.

Help with some of our house and hospitality needs:
  • Milk
  • Butter
  • Sugar
  • Your prayers for peace
  • Feminine hygiene products
  • Toilet paper
  • A new parking lot in the back of 912
  • A 100-cup coffee percolator  Thank you!
  • Cloth napkins and/or old fabric we can sew... lots of use means we can always use more!
  • A willing ear
  • A barrel compost tumbler  Thanks!
  • Stable people to move into the vacant homes in our neighborhood
  • A new roof for the shelter house Thanks so much!
  • A new roof for the meal house
  • Works of justice
